Our Pricing Policy
We are proud to give true value for money. Electricity is included in our prices.
This means an inexpensive, realistically priced holiday/stay.
Booking and Payment
When booking more than 6 weeks ahead, a non-refundable deposit of 25% is required, with the balance due 6 weeks before the start of your holiday.
If the full payment is not received at this time, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and retain any deposit. Payment by Bank Transfer.
We cannot accept credit/debit card or cash payments.
Cancellation/Amendment Fees
If you have to cancel, the following scale of charges applies:
More than 42 days – Deposit only
29 – 42 days – 50% Total booking cost
15 – 28 days – 75% Total Booking cost
0 – 14 days – 100% Total Booking cost
Travel insurance should cover this eventuality.
Transfers
If you are unable to travel, providing you inform us of the person/s travelling in your place, we will naturally honour the booking.
Changeovers
Friday to Friday bookings are preferred, although we can consider a Saturday to a Saturday. Check In: 15:00 Check Out: 10:00, unless by prior arrangement.
Alterations or Cancellations by us
Before the holiday contract takes effect, we reserve the right to change any holiday details. However, if there is a major change we will, of course, inform you so that you have the choice of cancelling.
After the contract has taken place, if the circumstances are beyond our control, we will refund all monies paid to us or try to rebook your holiday at a time to suit you. Beyond this, however, we cannot accept liability.
Smoking
Smoking is strictly not permitted in Bramble Lodge, especially owing to the wooden construction of the building.
However, providing due care is taken, smoking is permitted outside in the garden/patio area of Bramble Lodge providing due care is taken,
Pets
Unfortunately, although we are dog and cat lovers, we made the difficult decision a long time ago, to not accept pets, as we have guests who prefer pet-free places to stay.
